This is what we have all been waiting for - another HUGE powder snow storm yesterday has left us with yet another foot of Pow on Cypress Mountain - tons and tons of NEW snow.
We had a Super Crowd of great looking Skiers and Riders shredding it up as the fog came in and out all evening - lots of smiles taking photos in front of the Newly Lit Olympic Rings. The Evening Re-Groom went very well and again - Sweet Night Cord (SNC) was outstanding! - great feedback - thanks to all the Guys and Girls who work hard to get that done Only Here on Cypress Mountain!
Our Great Grooming Crew as usual have been climbing everywhere tilling, winching and digging out again last night - we will be opening the day with soft packed machine groomed snow on all of the Groomed Runs and soft powder off.
The East Face of Black Mountain on Raven Ridge Quad still should have plenty of Fresh still to find - Eagle Express terrain on the North Face of Black will be Gold with mostly packed Powder on the Olympic Venues! The south face of Mt. Strachan will be wild with stashes still to take on East Face and the Humpty Dumpty / Horizon Combo corded out on West Face! When Sky Chair finally opens - SAY NO MORE, Hounds will be Howling! T-33 off the top of the South Peak probably will have the best packed powder anywhere!
We have had an incredible amount of Snowfall over the past few days and conditions are "Middle of Winter" - an unbelievable February snowfall! If the Olympics were this year they would have to cancel because of TOO MUCH SNOW!
